Frankie say RelixRelix magazine, in their infinite wisdom, has seen fit to include us on their October/November 2018 issue and sampler CD. You can pick it up on the shelves, or order the back issue if you missed out.
This is a true accomplishment for us as artists, and we are extraordinarily thankful for their attention. Relix is the second-longest continuously running music publication in the United States, which in the words of Ron Burgundy makes this kind of a big deal. Be well, and have a happy 2019! |
Now we've done itMaximum Volume, a name we can very seriously get behind, took time out of their lives to listen to our music. And boy, are we glad they did. We won some high praise for our first major effort.
Keyboard Wizard is Joey in a nutshell, and his guidance and riffage were instrumental in the album. We can't say enough good things about the guy, he is a monster of a musician. But, like, the good kind. We agree that there is a lot to get excited about in Brainstorm. Not just musically, but for us as artists, this was an important first step- a good launching point for us. We are proud of every second you hear. Thanks again to Maximum Volume, and Andy Thorley for the high praise. Live strong and rock on! |

Apparently, we don't suck. Told you so.We had our suspicions, but it is nice to hear someone else say it out loud. We have been kicking ass for years now (some of you out there already know this), and honestly it feels pretty awesome to have some formal recognition for it. Much, much love to the guys from Popdust and GRUNGECAKE for including "Flower Child" in their recent playlist. They didn't have to do it, but they did, which is pretty cool.
Please make sure to check out both of their pages, and leave them a like. Let them know the Salesmen sent you there. Rock on you freaks, geeks, party peeps, stoners, loners, and rock and rollers. You are the reason we love what we do. \uu/, |

One of a kind, baby.We received some very high praise from A&R Factory about our new release "Brainstorm." They have definitely underscored a point we have made ourselves - we definitely defy genre stereotypes.
Inspiration is a major theme of the album, including a little imagery hidden in plain sight on the cover (bonus coolness points to whoever points it out). It is way cool of them to have picked up on that. We didn't set out to reinvent the wheel, we just do what comes naturally, and to have someone come along and comment that it works, and that it stands out from the masses, is encouraging. Much love to A&R Factory, and be sure to give their page a visit. Live long and prosper, my dudes. |

Patchouli or not, here we come.EmergingIndieBands was kind enough to write a few words about "Overtime" off of our stellar new EP Brainstorm, and we are stoked with what they have to say.
We eat 70s Rock and Roll for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and these bloggers know how to appreciate dedication like that. We won some high praise for our guitar and organ work, that really makes Overtime a song that is special to us, and a joy to perform live. We definitely invoked the muse of Rock and Roll to "deliver music that minds of tie-dyed kaftans and festivals." Festivals are cool, tye-dye is cool, these guys are cool. Give their page a look-see. Stay frosty out there, or the disco devil will get you. |

Groovy tunes indeedA big shout out to the good people at Adobe and Teardrops for their review and inclusion of Flower Child on their podcast.
We are flattered for them to have spent the time to give us a nod, and we dig what they are putting down too. Make sure to check out their page and give it a like, as they are working hard and trying to make things happen. Keep at it, you champions. |
